Assisted Living & Reflections Memory Care
The Residence at Medfield is proposed as a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community, to be located on a parcel on the edge of downtown in Medfield. After many meetings with the Town, the neighborhood and other interested parties, the proposal has been dramatically-updated to reflect and address concerns.
A key component of this has been striking an agreement to buy the Clark Tavern property next door, thus eliminating a high-traffic use that local residents have been fighting in court for two years. We are committing to preserve the Tavern as its current two-family residential use, which will reduce the average daily car trips from average weekday car trips from 458 (approved Tavern project alone) to 235 (LCB community plus Tavern residential use)–a 48% reduction from what is currently approved.
As proposed, the community would be 78 studio, one and two-bedroom units on 13.7 acres. We are committed to preserving the Tavern so that approximately .1 acre would be developed for a restored two-family dwelling.
In total, approximately 81% of all of the property on the combined sites would be left untouched in its natural state. Of the 14.7 total acres, about 2.7 would be developed or professionally landscaped.
The LCB team has built successful senior communities throughout New England over the past 20 years, and is known for its beautiful buildings and great collaborative relationships with the towns we do business in.
